Myanmar July 2013
IPC conducted risk assessments and safety & security workshops in 7 field locations across Myanmar.
Haiti November 2011
IPC supported the Haiti program regarding safety, security and logistics; develop Location Specific Security Plans and assessed the logistics performance and their compliance with international guidelines. IPC also conducted on the job training for logistic staff.
Myanmar July 2011
In an effort to reduce risk in insecure areas of Myanmar, IPC identified and assessed exposure of its projects to key risks, preparing special strategic plans to prevent and manage them, and enact contingency plans if required. These assessments were performed in Yangon, Htantabin, Sittwe, Northern Rakine and Wa Region.
Myanmar Feb 2011
IPC lead efforts to assess Malteser logistics practises in Myanmar field offices, and train up local staff in systems required for an efficient, functional organisation.
Haiti & Pakistan 2010
IPC were Malteser’s first response in the Haiti Crisis supporting Malteser’s actions in earthquake affected areas on January 2010 for one-month period, and to the flood in Pakistan in September 2010 over a period of 2 months. Both assignments included designing and coordinating procurement and supply chain while coordinating all support activities in-country, including international and local procurement, reception, and storage and dispatching of pharmaceuticals and other relief items.
Myanmar 2009:
Malteser International and IPC developed a new logistics technology called “Prolog” which is being used in Malteser Field Operations today. MOSIS (as Prolog was renamed) is enabling very fast logistic processes as is being deployed worldwide.
